Deliciously tart pomegranate combined with luxurious dark chocolate for one exquisite chocolate pomegranate ice cream.

Materials:

341 grams 12 ounces pomegranate arils
129 grams 4.5 ounces dark chocolate
105 grams 3.75 ounces 1/2 cup sugar
479 grams 16.875 ounces 2 cups half and half Or 1 cup milk and 1 cup cream

Methods:

  1. Gather all materials.
  2. Dissolve sugar in half and half.
  3. Pour sweetened half and half into ice cream maker, and add pomegranate arils.
  4. Meanwhile, melt chocolate. I used a double boiler.
  5. After ice cream has mostly solidified, stream in chocolate.
