Got some extra pumpkin? Make your own spiced pumpkin butter, and sweeten it up with a bit of maple syrup for an additional layer of flavor!
So, after making the Pumpkin Yeast Bread, I decided to make some pumpkin butter. Then I thought about pumpkin pie and how James likes all the spices. And then I saw some maple syrup. (In case you haven't figured out yet, this is how I often decide what goes into a recipe. :P) But really, doesn't some Maple Spiced Pumpkin Butter sound just grand on your slice of freshly baked Pumpkin Yeast Bread (or even the Spiced Pumpkin Bread)? I know it certainly added to mine!
What's your favorite butter flavor?

Woah! That is so cool! See, I love pumpkin. I love all squash. And, sometimes, if you have a really big couple pumpkins, you have more pumpkin than you can really use! So, this is a great idea. Thank you! I'm going to check out your Spiced Pumpkin Bread too!
