Well, March is just about over, but what happened to spring?!? I think there's even snow projected for tomorrow! Anyway, continuing on with the Top 5 recipes for this month...
5. Arañitas (Plantain Fritters)Pin ItArañitas means little spiders in Spanish, and this dish is named for the pieces of plantain sticking out, making it look like little spiders. These aranitas are even easier to make than most fritters since the starch in the plantains holds everything together. Great by themselves, as a substitute for fries, or as a side, they go well with some garlic dip. But, be careful, they are addictive! |

4. Cha Shao (Chinese BBQ Pork)Pin ItThis recipe is the first recipe that's made the top 5 list more than once! It first appeared in January 2011 (as #1!), and it's sure to please! Delicious as a filling for chao sao bao or by itself! |

3. Thai Sticky RicePin ItI got this recipe from a friend's mother since she made it for us and it was delicious! Although the sweetly salty dried fish topping is not usually served at restaurants (probably because dried fish doesn't quite sound appealing to many Americans). The fish topping might not seem appealing, but give it a try and see what you think - you might be pleasantly surprised! |

2. Garlic Herb Pizza CrustPin ItThis crust goes really well with the white garlic sauce pizza. This dough starts smelling good before it even hits the oven! The slight garlic scent and Italian herbs combined to create a delicious fragrance, and it only improves after baking! I couldn't resist eating a bit of the crust by itself before adding the pizza toppings. |

1. Luther BurgerPin ItA Luther Burger is a bacon cheeseburger, but with more awesome added in. Oh, and a Krispy Kreme original glazed doughnut replaces the typical sesame bun. This burger has the perfect blend of savory filling and sweet glaze. While I wouldn't quite call this burger health food, I was expecting a hugely greasy (but tasty!) burger, but most fast food burgers feel more greasy and are less tasty! |
