Morsels of Life - 5 Friday Finds

Here’s this week’s Five Friday Finds. :) (Images straight from the recipes and pinned on Pinterest.)

Jalapeno Cheddar Corn Muffins – Budget Bytes

I just got some cornmeal, and now I know exactly what to do with it. I already like cornbread, but once you throw in some cheddar and heat? I have a feeling these muffins will be breakfast soon!

Red Wine Poached Pear – The Charm of Home

I have two pears I want to use up, and I think this will be a great dessert, especially with fall just around the corner! Can you believe it’s September already?!

Fried Rice – Everyday Mom’s Meals

Fried Rice is another of those meals I sometimes crave from Chinese fast food joints. Now I can make my own version at home!

Masala Chai Latte – Yummy Supper

I’m a fan of all things chai, and always on the lookout for new versions to try! This version seems like it would be quite tasty!

Pepperoni Pizza Puffs – Lick the Bowl Good

I love how these pepperoni pizza puffs are so versatile – good for any meal or a side or an appetizer! Plus, I’m always a fan of miniature foods, especially ones you can eat on the go.

Hope you all have a fun and delicious weekend!

@April – You're welcome! I agree – the pizza puffs look like a fun way to mix up pizza night, and you don't even have to wait for the dough to rise!

@Loy – You're welcome! There's no need to save the fun foods for the kids. They get all sorts of fun food – why shouldn't we get to eat some fun foods too? :P

@J-Lee – Let me know how they turn out for you! :)

  6. >I'm thinking those corn muffins are a must try!

  10. >I love making homemade fried rice! If I cook rice to go with one meal, I always make a little extra and refrigerate it. For some reason, rice cooked a few days in advance makes the BEST fried rice. Plus, I only have to cook rice once that week! :)

  11. >@Elizabeth – Totally agree! Older rice, especially refrigerated rice makes better fried rice since it's not as sticky. :)
